Tono Cevicheria’s Holy Trinity

For the first time, in the renowned Peruvian Cevicheria’s history, three female chefs band together to create dishes that will leave you hungry for more; in TONO’s effort to celebrate women in an industry dominated by men during this month of March.


One of the prized students of acclaimed Peruvian Chef Rafael Osterling, the Cevicheria’s Head Chef Tamara Chavez, will collaborate with culinary icons Petrina Loh – the Chef-owner of Morsels – and Sous Chef Ashlee Malligan of Nouri on the ground-breaking one-day event on the 8th of March.


Marrying colourful heritage and various cooking techniques, the carefully curated menu that day will boast cuisine from the east to west, and everywhere in between. From Mexican flavours to Peranakan favourites, available to order only on that day are dishes like Mi Vuleve a la Vida – Chef Tamara’s take on fresh Mexican seafood; Angus Rump Rendang Taco – a clever take on a Straits Chinese favourite by Chef Petrina, and Mole Taco – Chef Ashlee’s answer to a classic Mexican mole poblano, where she substitutes traditional dark chocolate with buah keluak.
