Highland Park Releases The First Of Its Viking Legend Series – Valkyrie

Based out of the Orkney Islands in the northernmost region of Scotland, malt whisky distillery Highland Park was founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson, a direct descendant of Vikings.

Once a part of Denmark and Norway in the age of the Vikings, Orkney has a rich history of Nordic ancestry—something Highland Park has weaved into its whiskies. The first of three special edition whiskies to be released from the new Viking Legend series is Valkyrie.
