Burger’s for Good at Carne

Not all burgers are created equal. There is a new burger joint in town. CARNE is the first international outpost of the famed burger chain from Argentina.

Breaking news: There is a new burger joint in town. CARNE is the first international outpost of the famed burger chain from Argentina and comes with some serious gastronomy cred. Created by the award-winning Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco – who helms the three Michelin-starred restaurant Mirazur in France – CARNE is the world’s first hamburger chain to become a Certified B Corporation; a seal of approval that holds an environmental, economic and social mirror up to businesses that are committed to doing better for the world.

Colagreco’s presence in Singapore changes the paradigm of mass food production and consumption and leads the way of sustainable gastronomy in the Lion City. Staying true to its eco-conscious ethos of traceability, supporting local and ensuring continuity of trades, CARNE’s menu in Singapore prioritises housemade ingredients and produce sourced from our very own community of local artisans, sustainable growers and organic purveyors.

Every CARNE burger boasts a stack of perfectly-pillowy artisanal brioche buns that are baked fresh by local bakers daily; free-range grass-fed Argentinian beef; fresh vegetables from local and organic farms such as Zen Xin and Sustenir; and local cage-free eggs. In addition to the classic burgers are two Singapore exclusives: their Beef and Chimichurri Burger and Crispy Chicken Burger. Their Veggie Burger – made with grilled portobello, charred halloumi cheese, local oak lettuce and tomato tapenade between two housemade turmeric buns— will also make whet any carnivore’s appetite. Trust us.

And going hand-in-hand with the burgers are thick wedge hand-cut fries made daily using Agria potatoes that follow a precise and methodological three-step cooking process created by Colagreco and his team, milkshakes and, wait for it, craft beers. Yes, you read that right – craft beer from local breweries Trouble Brewing, Brewlander, Off Day Beer and Crust.
