Founded by husband and wife team, Jakob and Gabi MogensenLeckerbaer prides itself on gorgeous sweets. Calling Copenhagen its home, this famed confectionery house is known for their modern take on traditional Danish butter cookies, also known as småkager (pronounced as “smaw-kay-er”).

Formerly Michelin-starred restaurant chefs, the duo draw inspiration from geometric shapes and pay great attention to details. Aside from these cookies, Leckerbaer also has a selection of tarts, cakes and savoury foods; all of which are made from premium and often seasonal ingredients.

The shop, a 36-seater space, will be opening its doors this month at Isetan Scotts. Fitting of Hygge, the Danish way of living in absolute cosiness and comfortable conviviality, Leckerbaer welcomes with a warm and inviting ambience, in hopes to encourage a sense of sheer contentment.

Leckerbaer is located at 350 Orchard Road, Shaw House Isetan Scotts, Singapore 238868.
