This Japanese-French patisserie on Tras Street is a haven for cake and entremets lovers, and you’ll need three to four visits to sample most of its offering.
We loved the Le Goma, layers of fluffy black sesame sponge with sesame diplomat cream (a combination of pastry cream and whipped cream). Another standout was the Yuzu Raspberry cake, a sponge cake with yuzu mousse and fresh raspberries.
Chocolate fiends can get the Hazelnut, a salted caramel hazelnut dessert enrobed in dark chocolate with a crunchy praline feuilletine base. Try these cakes with Lychee Oolong tea. The tartness in the cakes compliments the tea’s fruity notes.
