Renowned Singaporean chef Damian D’Silva is no stranger to heritage Peranakan and Eurasian cuisine. Decorated in Straits Clan’s signature modern interiors of jade tile walls and marble tables with gilded finishings, the interiors are a clever contrast to the food he serves. Signature dishes include D’Silva’s Cantonese paper-wrapped boneless chicken with a spicy homemade garlic  chilli relish; a preserved bean braised pork stew, and the buah keluak (candlenut) fried rice. Order the famous sugee cake with an additional serving of vanilla ice cream if you have space left.
