Sarnies

The white-collared, fitness-obsessed tribes that congregate at Telok Ayer Street in yoga wear are no strangers to Sarnies. The coffee here is good, and regulars know that “orange mocha” is on the secret menu. Espresso is left to steep over citrus peels, resulting in a cup that’s fragrant, strong, and good for burning through one morning’s worth of emails.

The Salmon Cauliflower is seared to smoked perfection, as the fish sits on a bed of fresh tomatoes, creamy hummus and crunchy cauliflower, matched with sweet pops of pomegranate. The Mexican Salad is packed with flavourful guacamole, red rice, spicy corn bits, greens and tender pulled pork. The succulent Grass Fed Steak tossed with tasty caramelised onions in a wrap is a quick lunch fix.

Those on clean diets should try one of the vegan superfood shakes—our peanut butter one came mixed with banana and goji bits in fragrant almond milk, making it a wonderful palate cleanser.
