Helmed by a husband-wife team, Sweet Garden Dining Café is a humble heartland eatery serving moderately-priced Western food with a modern twist.
Chef-owner Barry Lok takes care of the kitchen, thanks to his decade-long experience of working as a chef in various hotels such as Four Seasons Hotel and the iconic Raffles Hotel. His wife leads the front-of-house.
The menu here is extensive, but it is the Lok’s Skinny Pizzas that will have you coming back for more. Thin and crispy, the pizzas are generously covered with the likes of pepperoni, salami, sliced mushrooms and ham. For some local flavour, try the Tom Yum Squid Ink Spaghetti, a fiery bowl of pasta with assorted seafood. Or get the 24-hour slow-cooked Beef Cheeks, a classic rendition of roast with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
