Now more than two decades old, the long-established Tien Court is as classic as it gets. Known for Cantonese cuisine and dim sum, the restaurant is a nostalgic throwback to big family dinners around the lazy Susan on white cloth-covered tables.
In a bid for sustainability and wellness, they’ve stopped serving shark fins and worked with a Chinese physician for a Nourishing Menu.
The kitchen is helmed by chef Tai Kin Seng, who’s responsible for the artfully plated dishes such as a hollowed-out mini pumpkin containing lobster soup. For a textural treat is a crispy filo stick on the side. We especially loved the fresh coral trout, poached with oil. Chef also does an exceptional Hokkien Mee; it’s off menu so you’ll have to ask for it!
